Diploma of Graphic Design

Take your graphic design talent to the next level and build your skills in using design software and specialised programs for signage; corporate branding and identities; advertising campaigns; product packaging and advertorial brochures; and web, multimedia and online applications.

If you're ready to take your graphic design talent to the next level, this qualification will build your skills in using design software and specialised programs to design complex items such as  annual reports, signage; corporate branding and identities, advertising campaigns, product packaging, advertorial brochures, and other press ready artwork. You'll also gain skills in graphic design for web and online application including user interfaces, game graphics and UX design.

You'll gain advanced skills in 3D modelling to assist in visualising packaging, signage and concept art and bring them to life; and explore concept development, creative thinking, social media advertising and digital illustration — all using current industry standard software and programs. Last but not least, you'll learn how to solve visual communication challenges and gain experience in the business aspects of graphic design such as copyright, intellectual property, invoicing and networking; and much more.

Note: This course is best suited for people who already have some background or experience in this field. If you're unsure, please seek advice from the training provider to see whether this course is the right choice for you.
