This short course skill set will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to work on projects with conservation groups within the forestry or agriculture sector, nurseries and local councils. It's a great introduction to the industry!
You will gain skills and knowledge to work on projects with conservation groups; in forestry or agriculture environments; and in nurseries and local councils.
You’ll learn how to recognise plants and also learn about their culture. You will also gain practical skills to support the collection, treatment and storage of seed that can be applied to revegetation projects, habitat restoration and the protection of existing and native vegetation.
This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications. Successful completion can provide credit, should you pursue further study in a related qualification.
