Green Skills - Safety Skill Set

Are you passionate about the environment and want to learn environmentally friendly practices? Learn how to work safely and effectively in the green jobs sector and develop your knowledge of environmentally sustainable work practices, the importance of biodiversity in an ecosystem and the effect of climate change on the environment.

Green jobs contribute to preserving and restoring the environment, and this short course skill set provides the skills and knowledge required to get an entry level job in the conservation and land management sector. 

You will learn how to work safely and effectively in the green jobs sector and develop your knowledge of environmentally sustainable work practices, the importance of biodiversity in an ecosystem and the effect of climate change on the environment.

This skill set is also perfect for existing workers who want to gain practical introductory knowledge and skills relating to procedures, recommended practices and relevant policies and for working safely in the biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management sector.

This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications. Successful completion can provide credit, should you pursue further study in a related qualification.
