This qualification has been designed with the career oriented, sports professional in mind and will provide a broad set of skills and knowledge to advance any career in the sport industry. You'll also develop essential business skills such as project management, leadership and marketing, along with coaching and managing participants to perform and excel.

Note: This course is best suited for people who already have some background or experience in this field. If you're unsure, please seek advice from the training provider to see whether this course is the right choice for you.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.

We're excited to be offering this course as part of a new dual diploma program, to give you greater opportunities to advance your career and enhance your skill set. If you are a natural leader and love sport, this new program will give you skills in business, management and enhance your leadership and sport knowledge and experience.

On successful completion of the program you'll gain the Diploma of Sport and a Diploma of Leadership and Management, equipping you to find employment in a range of sporting bodies, or state and local government  organisations or to work independently in the private or public sector.

*Please note the Diploma of Sport will not be offered as a stand alone qualification, only as one part of the dual diploma program, delivered with the Diploma of Leadership and Management.
