You'll gain high level skills to plan and manage projects from start to finish including developing and managing the project scope;  developing and managing schedules and project plans; how to track and manage time, quality, financials and costs, and risk;  information and communication techniques; stakeholder engagement strategies; and more.

A successful project relies on the effectiveness of the entire project team, but it's the project manager who keeps it all together and makes it work. This training will provide you with advanced level project management skills, to take your skills and knowledge to the next level.

You'll learn how to plan and manage projects from start to finish, including developing and managing the project scope;  developing and managing schedules and project plans; how to track and manage time, quality, financials and costs, and risk;  information and communication techniques; and stakeholder engagement strategies.

This course provides students with the essential skills and knowledge to undertake project management practices. 

Throughout this course, you will train in an online simulated workplace environment consisting of business scenarios and organisational policies and procedures that need to be completed. If you are already employed, you may be given the option of using your workplace policies and practices for training and assessment purposes.The Diploma of Project Management can lead to job roles such as a contract coordinator, project manager, quality administrator or risk management professional.

When you complete the Diploma of Project Management you will be looking at a career as a contract coordinator, project manager, quality administrator or risk management professional.

Completion of the Diploma of Project Management opens up a range of further study options and it may provide advanced standing towards a university degree.

BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management -  LogiKal’s Diploma of Project Management is a practical, hands on training course delivered in an interactive classroom environment. The course is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills and tools to become more effective Project Managers. To be eligible to access the training funding participants must:

  • Have their primary place of residence in Western Australia
  • Be currently employed for 20+ hours / week

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include: BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice OR 5 + years vocational experience in project / management / leadership roles with responsibility for achieving project objectives. Following completion of the face to face workshops, participants are required to complete a portfolio of evidence consisting of written responses, practical tasks and a skills observation.
