If you’re a qualified trades engineer wanting to open up new career opportunities, this is the course for you. Gain specialised knowledge and extensive skills across the electrical engineering field to progress towards a career as an engineering associate, technical officer, or electronic systems technician for employment as an Advanced Engineering Tradesperson–Level II. 

Through the Diploma of Engineering–Advanced Trade you can advance your skills in technical drawing, graphical techniques, interpreting technical specifications and manuals — plus learn all the latest computing technologies, how to write technical reports, and research and analyse engineering data.

You'll also gain specialised knowledge and extensive skills across the electrical engineering field to progress towards a career as an engineering associate, technical officer, or electronic systems technician and be eligible for employment as an Advanced Engineering Tradesperson–Level II. 

Note: This is a post-trade qualification — You must be able to produce current trade papers, qualifications, or equivalent for enrolment.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.
