The CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to become a qualified Community Care Worker or if they choose the Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) pathway, they could become a Case Worker. The course provides students with specialised knowledge needed to work with clients in a legal and ethical environment which promotes inclusion and growth within diverse communities. Students will understand the practices required to analyse the needs of individuals, provide them with case management to help them within their environments, assess the needs within communities and develop service programs to meet their needs. Students must meet the eligibility requirements and agree to the mandatory attendance requirements to apply for the Lower Fees, Local Skills subsidy. Attendance requirements are as follows for Existing Workers - Existing Worker: You will be considered an 'Existing Worker' if you work 20 or more hours for the same employer.
