The use of stone and rock for elements such as feature walls, windows and arches; fireplaces; chimneys; benchtops; pathways and decorative feature pieces in both indoor and outdoor areas is becoming more and more popular, and good stonemasons are very much in demand!
This training will set you up as a trades qualified stonemason. You'll learn to work with a range of materials including sandstone, limestone, granite, marble and other types of stone and stone products, and how to design and create stone elements.
You'll also learn to use tools and equipment, read and interpret plans and specifications, and so much more!
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study. Note: This course is usually available only as an apprenticeship.
