Certificate III in International Freight Forwarding (Operator)

With so much of the world's business now taking place online, and all the deliveries that take place as a result, there's a high demand for skilled transport workers. Here's your ticket to a job with an international freight company!

Freight forwarders are a key part of the supply chain, typically storing physical freight for customers in addition to arranging logistics and transportation of shipments. They aim to find the best means of transport via shipping, airlines, road, and rail, that best meets the client's delivery requirements.

This course will teach you how to organise international freight and prepares you for operational roles as a freight forwarding operator. The course covers key skills including: workplace communication and safety, ensuring the safety of transport activities, completing and checking import/export documents, transmitting shipping documentation, preparing cargo, and much more.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.
