Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead

If you would like to get a trade qualification as an electrical powerline technician, this is the course for you! Learn about working at heights, electrical safety, electrical fault diagnosis and problem solving, using specialist tools and electrical testing equipment, operating equipment and machinery, and more.

You'll gain an overview of the electrical supply industry; with the skills you need to work on the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical power poles, towers, and other electrical and power supply infrastructure.

The course covers working at heights, electrical safety, electrical fault diagnosis and problem solving, using specialist tools and electrical testing equipment, operating equipment and machinery around overhead powerlines, and more.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study. Note: This course is generally completed as an apprenticeship.
