Certificate III in Concreting

Lay a solid foundation for an interesting career in the construction industry, working on a range of projects from residential homes through to commercial buildings.

A concrete labourer works on creating forms and structures from cement, for residential and commercial projects.  This course — also available as a traineeship — will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to get started!

You'll learn how to read and interpret technical plans and specifications; erect and dismantle formwork for footings and slabs on the ground; carry out measurements and calculations; handle concreting materials; use and maintain concreting plant, tools and equipment; place, finish and cure reinforcements and concrete; and all about workplace safety OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.

Get set for a career in concreting! Completion of this course can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.
