Through this course, you can get commercial grade baking skills to work in any bakery or patisserie, even hotels or restaurants.
If you would like to become a qualified pastry chef, the Certificate III in Cake and Pastry is the course for you! This is a nationally recognised and accredited qualification, which means you will graduate with commercial grade baking skills to work in any commercial bakery or patisserie — you could even be the in-house baker at a fancy restaurant or hotel.
You'll lean how to make, bake and decorate traditional and modern cakes; pies (sweet and savoury); pastries; croissants; meringues; puddings; sponges; fillings; artisan products; and more! You’ll also gain essential back of house skills including workplace safety, food safety programs, recipe calculations, stock ordering, retail sales and inventory control.
Completion of this course can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.

Australian College of Training offers apprenticeships in FBP30321 Certificate III in Cake and Pastry. All training is conducted as on-the-job training at your workplace.
