Certificate II in Community Pharmacy

This qualification will give you the basic skills in both pharmacy and retail, to get you job ready for work in a community pharmacy. It's also a great pathway into further study in the interesting field of pharmacy work.

This nationally recognised and accredited qualification is the perfect first step for your career in community pharmacy! 

Following this training, you'll be ready to work as a pharmacy assistant providing advice to customers with medical needs; respond to and assisting customers with products; and accepting prescriptions. You'll also be able to understand the legislative framework, regulation and protocols that apply to community pharmacies; operate a point of sale area; maintain stock levels and displays; and organise and maintain work areas.

Completion of this course can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study. It's also an excellent pathway to a traineeship in this industry.
