Improve your English skills with this entry-level course designed to introduce you to basic English language skills. This course develops your language and literacy skills further to enable you to undertake education and training, seek and maintain employment and participate fully in your community.
You will develop your skills in basic speaking and listening; basic reading and writing; learning study skills; and gain knowledge of Australian society, customs and practices. The certificate includes elective numeracy units for those learners who may also need to develop numeracy skills.
This course is ideal for newly arrived migrants and refugees who need to develop language skills to participate in a limited range of contexts. Other groups who may benefit from this course include international students, long term migrants and Aboriginal students.
