BAS Agent Registration Skill Set
Seeking registration as a business activity statement (BAS) Agent? This course meets the education requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) for becoming a BAS Agent. Learn from industry experts and gain skills to complete business and instalment activity statements and other taxation compliance obligations, and maintain payroll systems, for clients.
Becoming a registered BAS agent can open a range of career opportunities for individuals who have a passion for numbers and an eye for detail.
Through this training, you'll gain the knowledge and skills required to work as a BAS agent and help clients comply with their taxation obligations. You'll also learn how to create and maintain a payroll system.
This course meets the education requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board for becoming a BAS Agent as a Tax Practitioners Board Approved course.
To become a registered BAS agent, you must satisfy the relevant qualifications and experience requirements that are set out in the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009 (TASR).
Upon completion of the course, you will need to apply to the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) for registration as a BAS agent. Once registered, BAS agents can provide BAS services.
The units in this skill set can provide credit towards a full qualification in a related field, should you wish to pursue further study.
