The Role

Southern Quickscapes is a local business providing landscaping services to residential clients across the southern suburbs of Perth.  
At Southern Quickscapes we provide a broad range of landscaping services including:  

  • Installation of reticulation and drainage systems 
  • Site clean and sand removal 
  • Erecting Colourbond gates and fencing 
  • Establishing lawn, garden beds and small trees 
     

Constructing:  

  • Stone and gravel pathways 
  • Timber and aluminium edging 
  • Brick paving 
  • Limestone and brick planter boxes 

We currently have a vacancy for an energetic and reliable person to assist with the above tasks while completing a Landscaping Traineeship. This a full-time position, with additional hours available after an initial trial period.

The role would ideally suit someone who has some experience in landscaping or gardening work and who is genuinely interested in starting a career in landscaping.

Selection criteria

The person we are looking for will: 

  • Be genuinely interested in commencing a career in Landscaping 
  • Be physically fit and able to work outdoors 
  • Have a positive attitude 
  • Be willing to complete TAFE training associated with the traineeship
  • Be a self-starter, motivated and eager to learn 
  • Have great listening skills and be willing to follow instructions 
  • Be reliable and punctual  
  • Have good safety awareness 
  • Possess a valid Driver’s Licence (“C” Class unrestricted)
  • Previous experience or studies in Landscaping would be an advantage 
  • Your own transport and/or vehicle would also be an advantage
