The Role
We are looking for dedicated Emergency Services Officers (ESO) and Medical Emergency Service Officers (MESO) to join our team on a FIFO basis from Perth. Multiple positions are available across different locations and rosters, giving you the flexibility to select what suits you best. As a key member of our emergency services team, you will be instrumental in responding to both emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency incidents
- Provide immediate medical care (for MESO role)
- Conduct regular safety drills and training
- Collaborate with site management to maintain safety protocols
- Provide support in non-emergency situations as needed
Selection criteria
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Cert IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or higher (for MESO role only)
- Cert III in Mines Emergency Response & Rescue including the following units
- - Undertake confined space rescue
- Undertake vertical rescue
- Drive vehicle under operational conditions - Certificate to Collect Specimens for Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) drivers' licence
- Current first aid qualifications
Preferred:
- 2 years' experience as an ESO or MESO
- Volunteering, DFES or military experience highly regarded
- BG4 qualified – underground sites only
