The Town of Port Hedland is looking for Casual Swim School Instructor to join our Leisure Team in 2025. As Swim School Instructor you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our community as you teach children from 6 months of age to adults key life skills that can be applied to any aquatic environment, especially living within the Pilbara Region.
To be successful in this position you will need to have completed the Austswim Certificate or equivalent Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety as well as hold CPR Certification. Selection criteria
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check Card
