The Role
We are seeking experienced heavy plant and machinery operators (graders, trucks, loaders and rollers) to join our Roads and Civil Projects Team in the Infrastructure Directorate in Tom Price.
Reporting to the Coordinator the advertised positions are responsible for operating road plant on the maintenance and construction of the Shire's road network, and other projects as required.
Selection criteria
- Our ideal candidates would have a minimum of a HC licence and have the skills and experience to operate machinery and plant used in the maintenance and construction of rural roads as well as undertake minor maintenance of equipment. Experience working outdoors in remote rural (Pilbara) conditions would be an advantage.
- Regular travel and extended overnight stays in rural locations are an essential part of this role. At these times temporary accommodation will be provided. Working hours and rosters may vary depending on environmental conditions.

This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six weeks' annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
