If you’d like to get started as a wool handler or sheep shearer, this short course will get you the job ready skills you need. Learn about working as part of a wool production team including penning, preparing facilities for shearing, crutching, and monitoring the welfare of sheep to industry standard animal welfare requirements, how to use a range of machinery and equipment related to sheep shearing, and more.
