Pathology Collection Skill Set

The Pathology Collection Skill Set will give you the skills to obtain blood samples from a patient for laboratory testing and get you job ready for working in hospital wards or outpatient clinics, GP clinics and specialist rooms, home collection services and other public and private healthcare settings.
With training completed under the supervision of a trained phlebotomist, you’ll gain the skills and knowledge to perform in all aspects of a pathology collection role.
This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications. Successful completion can provide credit, should you pursue further study in a related qualification.
