Marine Radio Operator's VHF and HF Skill Set
Get your Short Range Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (SROCP) License issued by ACMA, with this short course.
This short course skills set will teach you how to use VHF, HF and UHF marine radios correctly.
This course is a mandatory requirement of the Coxswain Grade 1 and Coxswain Grade 2 qualifications (where a vessel has a VHF, HR or UHF radio onboard), and is also required for recreational vessel operators who have a VHF radio onboard.
You'll learn about VHF, HF, UHF radios; different stations and frequencies used for communication in the maritime industry; operating procedures for routine, distress, urgency and safety communications; EPIRBs; basic trouble shooting and maintenance; and more!
When you complete this skill set, you will receive a Short Range Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (SROCP) License issued by ACMA.
