In this short course skill set, you will gain hands on practical experience in preparing food and beverages including a comprehensive introduction to the kitchen, bar, and front of housework areas.
You will gain experience in making and serving coffee and sandwiches, serving customers and handling customer complaints as well as the ins and outs of opening and closing a venue. Upon completion of this course you will have gained the practical skills to enter and work in a local café, restaurant or bar.
This course is supported by Tourism Western Australia.
This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications. Successful completion can provide credit, should you pursue further study in a related qualification.
