If your goal is to gain a leadership or management role careers in the logistics and transport industry, this is the course for you! You'll gain practical high level on the job skills including reading and interpreting transport schedules; managing inventory; meeting regulatory requirements; and more.

The focus of this training is on operations management, which gives you practical high level on the job skills including reading and interpreting transport schedules; managing inventory; and meeting regulatory requirements. You'll also learn how to develop operational procedures to ensure efficiency and workplace safely.

Depending on your TAFE or training provider, you can choose to specialise your training with elective units including team leadership; safety; international distribution.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.

The supply chain is an integral component of business operations around the world and the efficient flow of goods and services from the supplier to the end customer is critical to the success and reputation of a company. 

This course will equip you with an in-depth understanding of supply chain management in a technologically advancing sector. You'll gain managerial skills as you take on more advanced skills for management of people, budgets, resources and processes. Flexible Training Solutions (a specialist supply chain training organisation) offers Traineeships in TLI50224 Diploma of Logistics. Training delivery is tailored to the Employer and Trainees' requirements and can consist of online learning, formal training sessions and mentoring. Units of Competency can be tailored to reflect company standards, operational policies and procedures or individual needs to ensure knowledge and skills learned are easily translated into the workplace. 

We utilise a mix of on-the-job observations, questioning and workplace-based projects throughout our assessment tasks.
