Advanced Networking is designed for students seeking careers in network support and administration. This specialisation develops skills in installing, configuring, and managing computer networks; providing IT support and customer service; working with operating systems such as Linux and Windows; server virtualisation; and implementing network security solutions. Cybersecurity focuses on building skills in information technology with a strong emphasis on protecting digital systems and data. Students learn to manage IT network security, analyse cyber threat data, develop incident response plans, and design disaster recovery strategies to support organisational resilience in an increasingly digital environment.
Front End Web Development prepares students to design, develop and maintain commercial websites and web applications. This specialisation includes hands-on training in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, as well as configuring Linux and Apache servers to support modern web solutions. Through industry-relevant training and practical learning, the Diploma of Information Technology equips graduates with versatile skills to pursue roles across networking, cybersecurity and web development.
