On the surface, the fashion industry seems very glamorous but of course there's a whole load of work behind it! It offers exciting careers, but you'll need the right training to make the most of your creative skills and launch yourself into a successful career.

In addition to core skills and knowledge such as understanding fabrics and textiles, this training focuses on the world of design. You'll learn about industry trends and markets, and how the industry works on a global scale. 

You'll gain digital design skills, learn how to write and cost design specifications, learn about sustainable product development, garment construction, fashion illustration, manual and digital pattern making, CAD grading and virtual 3D skills and so much more!

Note: This course is designed for people who already have some background or experience in this field. If you are new to this, please seek advice from the training provider to see whether this is the right training for you.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.
