This short course will get you qualified for an A Grade Electrician's Licence from the WA Electrical Licensing Board.
Through this short course skill set, you'll be qualified to meet licensing requirements of the WA Electrical Licensing Board for an A Grade Electrician's Licence.
You'll gain the skills and knowledge needed to:
- inspect and test an electrical installation and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- design and install low voltage electrical wiring in domestic premises, inclusive of wiring enclosures, cable support systems and cable accessories;
- work safely in the electrical industry;
- meet the requirements of mandatory reporting; and
- terminate cables and connecting accessories to comply with installation standards.
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.
