This course will give you high level skills and knowledge for senior or supervisory roles in the creatives arts industry. It's ideal for anyone with experience in this field, but may also be suitable for those starting out in the world of screen, television or media.

Depending on your training provider, you can choose to specialise in areas including animation and visual effects; radio, broadcasting and podcasting; journalism; content creation and production; or film and video production.
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field.

The Certificate IV in Screen and Media provides training in working safely and effectively in the creative arts industry on media productions that require teamwork and collaboration. You will apply photographic skills, both digital and analogue, and work with vision and audio to create video projects that include animation and a range of sources. Writing, editing and presenting sound and images for a variety of audiences and purposes includes developing storyboards, creating 2D animations and visual effects
