You'll learn how to perform operational maintenance on plant, machinery, and equipment in a range of industrial and other settings. 

Units covered include carrying out engineering computations and measurements; following workplace safety and sustainability procedures; communicating with your work team; servicing and maintaining operational plant; sharpening and maintaining production tools and cutter; servicing engines and generators; welding; and much more!

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification may provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification or university degree, should you wish to pursue further study in this field. Note: This course is usually only available as an apprenticeship.
