Certificate IV in Engineering (Fluid Power)

Hydraulics, pneumatics, it's all great to work on and there's so many job opportunities here! Through this course you'll learn all about equipment calibration and the monitoring and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power systems.

If you want to build high level skills and knowledge in fluid power machinery and systems, to work as a specialist hydraulics fitter or mechanic, this is the course for you. You could be working on mining equipment, large transportation vehicles, even submarines!

This training covers equipment calibration and the monitoring and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power systems; giving you practical skills and knowledge to analyse, inspect, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintain fluid power controls, monitor equipment condition, and manage workplace health and safety.

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study. 

Note: This course is usually available only as an apprenticeship.
