This training will set you up with the basic creative and technical skills of visual arts and crafts practice — the perfect way to fine tune your skills and creativity ready for a career in a range of areas where some art skill is required; including architecture, product design, industrial design, interior design, interior decoration, graphic design, fashion design, web design, advertising, engineering, animatronics, robotics and special effects.

You'll gain practical skills and knowledge to create two and three dimensional forms in a variety of formats; and learn how to visualise, develop and present ideas and images; to discuss the visual arts analytically and appreciatively; and to constructively evaluate your own work and that of others. You will also learn skills in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, and design.
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study or specialise in a particular field within this industry.
