You'll gain skills and knowledge that are highly sought after in any industry or business ready where outdoor power tools are used.
You'll learn how to diagnose and repair engines, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, portable generators, electric circuits, cutting equipment, digging systems, pumping systems and more; for a range of tools and equipment including rotary hoes, chainsaws, line trimmers, boring tools, post hole diggers, reciprocating saws, and mowers; and small to medium engines.
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.

SM TAFE's Carlisle campus is WA's major centre for automotive and panel beating studies. Automotive apprentices and pre-apprentices enjoy state of the art facilities, including new vehicles, specialised repair and diagnostic equipment, fully equipped spray painting ovens, specialised workrooms and workshops.
