Certificate III in Music (Sound Production)

If you would love to work behind the scenes in the music industry as a sound producer, this is the course for you!

This course will give you a practical introduction to the music industry and the work of a sound producer. You'll learn about recording processes — including mixing, editing and post-production; participate in recording sessions; and follow the production processes through to the completion of a demo recording.

You'll also learn how to use industry standard studio equipment and programs for sound production. What a great way to get your career started!

Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.

Get started on a sound career in the music industry

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to record, mix and edit sound sources and you will learn about the music industry from the production perspective.
