This course will set you up for a career in the service, repair, and retail industry; working on a range of exciting mobile plant machinery such as earthmoving and lifting equipment used across a range of industry areas including building and construction and mining.
You'll learn how to diagnose and repair drivelines, drive assemblies, engines, torque converters, suspension, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, transmission and steering; repair basic electrical wiring and circuits; weld and do thermal cutting; work safely; and much more! Training is delivered in modern workshops with industry standard tools and equipment.
Completion of this nationally recognised and accredited qualification can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study.

Typically, students pursuing this certification will be employed within an automotive department in an organisation with access to automotive air-conditioning equipment.
