This traineeship provides entry level training for those looking at careers in Assistant in Nursing. Conducted predominantly on the job, our trainers will provide one on one support to achieve competency. Supported by our online learning environment, trainees will have access to recorded lecture content, learning resources, videos and case studies. All trainees have access to a Student Support Officer in addition to their trainer to assist them through their learning journey.

The HLT33115- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance Course provides a strong foundation for support roles in health care settings. You will learn to work with clients under the supervision of professional health staff. IHNA is offering this course with 2 days of classes weekly on campus at Perth CBD. Upon getting this qualification, you will be able to work as Care Assistant, Care Worker, Assistant in Nursing, Personal Care Giver, Personal Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Care Service Employee in Residential group homes etc. For admission enquiries, please contact enquiry@ihna.edu.au or 1800 22 52 83. IHNA will deliver 2 days of on-campus classes on a weekly basis. During these classes, students attend theory and simulation-based training and learning. In addition, students are to attend mandatory work placement of 80 hours. One EFT (Equivalent to Full Time) staff Trainer / Assessor will be allocated to 60 students.
