Further your career working behind the scenes in the creative industries or tourism sectors

If you’re looking to build a career in the creative industries or tourism, this course will help you develop the business and administration skills you need to work behind the scenes.

You’ll gain broad, practical skills in arts and cultural administration, preparing you for roles in galleries, museums, studios, tourism bureaus, theatres and art and design retail outlets. You could also find opportunities with local councils, information bureaus and markets.

Our Certificate III in Arts Administration and Cultural Administration is delivered as a one-year, employer-based traineeship. North Metropolitan TAFE is the only TAFE from Albany to Geraldton offering this qualification. As a trainee, you’ll learn on the job while earning an income, putting your skills into practice in a real workplace. Once you complete the course, you’ll have the skills and experience to pursue employment or further study in the creative industries or tourism.
