The Certificate III in Accounts Administration provides you with the skills and knowledge to work in the administrative side of accounting, assisting in the management of finances for an organisation.

This includes financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, producing financial reports and providing customer service in financial transactions.

Throughout this course, you will learn how to:

  • Create subsidiary accounts and ledgers
  • Undertake financial calculations and transactions

Students will also learn how to produce business documents and reports and learn about best practices for customer service in the financial services sector.

You'll be trained in general ledger administration to help you manage finances for a company, and gain essential knowledge in how to record financial transactions, maintain financial records, complete calculations and create spreadsheets. You'll also develop skills in using computerised accounting software including MYOB and XERO, as well as performing payroll procedures and producing reports.
