The Certificate II in Meat Processing (Abattoirs) is an entry level qualification covers work activities for those commencing work in an abattoir. You'll gain an overview about the meat industry, learn how to maintain personal equipment, follow safe work policies and procedures, gain sanitation knowledge, and many other essential skills. This training may lead to roles including meat process worker, meat retailer, or supermarket meat worker.

Completion of this course can provide credit towards a relevant higher level qualification, should you wish to pursue further study. It's also an excellent pathway to an apprenticeship or traineeship in this industry.
