The Certificate I in Leadership is a pathway to the Certificate II in Leadership or other further study. This course is a bridging course for clients who need to develop the necessary employability skills which will support their transition to work, further education and community participation. It is a hands on course ensuring students are engaged in practical components.
The core units provide opportunities to learn confidence building strategies, problem solving, communication, team work, basic computer and technology skills. It is aimed at the development of personal, social and employability skills and life skills that are applicable across a wide range of industries and career groups.
This course is designed to assist learners who have been marganilised or disadvantaged in some way, to articulate into vocational pathways and to develop the skills and abilities to direct their own development.
