You'll gain a range of skills and knowledge including identifying pests and weeds then determining chemical requirements to manage them; identifying different chemicals and assessing their hazards; preparing chemical mixes in accordance with label instructions; safely applying chemicals using a range of application equipment; transporting and storing chemicals according to their Safety Data Sheets (SDS); and much more.
This skill set consists of units from nationally recognised and accredited qualifications. Successful completion can provide credit, should you pursue further study in a related qualification.
