Prepare for a career as a contemporary artist or designer with this nationally recognised and accredited qualification. You'll have the opportunity to refine your skills in a holistic studio environment and explore, practice and demonstrate what it is to be a creative practitioner as you gain advanced skills and knowledge in jewellery design and production.
During the course, you'll develop your own project proposals and work closely with industry-experienced lecturers and technicians to explore ideas and bring your visions to life. You will study in purpose built art and design facilities, and have access to a broad range of industry standard equipment and materials.
As a visual artist or designer you may choose to develop your own independent practice, seek employment opportunities within specific creative industries or explore other opportunities such as internships or residencies.

The Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts (Jewellery Design) is designed for makers and designers like you, who want to move beyond technical proficiency and explore advanced design practice, critical thinking, and professional business skills.
This course challenges you to think creatively, experiment with materials and technology, and develop your own distinctive voice as a designer. Building on the skills gained at Diploma level, you’ll learn to lead projects from concept to exhibition, manage the business and professional aspects of a creative career, and produce a cohesive body of work that positions you as a confident, industry-ready jewellery designer.
