If you would like to develop specialised skills in game design, scripting interactions, and creating game art — this is the course for you.

This nationally recognised and accredited qualification will give you the skills and knowledge required to build environments for computer-based, video and online games, develop characters, create and script interactions, design and create animations, and design props using industry standard programs and tools. You'll also learn CGI artistry. 

With this training, you'll be all set to work either individually or as part of a game development team in the screen and media industries.

Become a skilled CG Artist and Animator

CG artists bring imagination to life - designing and creating the environments, characters, props, visual effects and motion graphics that shape animations, films, games and advertisements.

In this Advanced Diploma, you’ll take your skills to the next level. Learn to design characters and worlds, build stunning game and film art, and master leading industry-standard tools. With our strong industry connections, you’ll also have the chance to showcase your work at our end-of-year Expo.

This art-focused qualification gives you high-end, practical skills in concept art, 3D modelling, rigging and animation. You’ll build your own professional showreel and collaborate in a team to create a short animated film or playable game prototype - experience that mirrors real studio practice.

By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready to compete in the global market, confident using the cutting-edge software and workflows that drive today’s top animation, VFX and game studios.
