Advanced Diploma of Instrumentation and Control Engineering

This course is designed for experienced electronic engineers and technical instrumentation specialists who wish to develop advanced level skills and further their career. It includes competencies in risk management, project estimation, technical advice, and sales.
This nationally recognised and accredited qualification will give you the skills to design, validate, and evaluate process control equipment and systems. It also covers:
- the installation, testing, development, selection, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of instrumentation and control systems;
- preparing drawings, plans and diagrams for electronic engineering work and inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications, drawings, contracts and regulations;
- developing, constructing and testing electronic equipment and associated circuitry in accordance with technical manuals and instructions of Electronics Engineers and Engineering Technologists;
- performing tests, graphing results, preparing charts and tabulations;
- estimating material costs and quantities;
- evaluating performance of equipment; and
- installing, testing, repairing and modifying electronic equipment.
